Bernadette Jackson will be our Launch Speaker travelling all the way over from Cardiff!
Bernadette qualified as an Attorney-at-Law 21 years ago and has been a keen networker and Business Strategist ever since. Her unique networking and business development skills earned her great success in the Caribbean, resulting in the establishment of valuable partnerships with U.K. law firms serving their clients’ legal needs overseas. She was also a regular guest speaker to ethnic groups within the London Boroughs, providing updates on regional real estate laws which would affect them.
Since moving to the United Kingdom over a decade ago, Bernadette has added to her undeniable experience by working with some of the country’s top law firms and, most recently, Cardiff-based New Law Solicitors. Bernadette distinguished herself in the South Wales market place by employing the innovative approach of developing strategic partnerships which also earned her nationwide recognition.
In her former role of Head of Property at New Law Solicitors, she was a twice invited speaker at the National Conveyancing Congress, on the importance of marketing and networking between solicitors and other related industry players. She was also invited to and currently serves a 3 year term, on the inaugural Cardiff Council of the South Wales Chamber of Commerce. Bernadette works closely with the Chamber to impart networking skills and training to its members. A highly sought after presenter and speaker, she is widely published as a Business Development and Networking Advisor in the United Kingdom and America. Currently, as Chief Executive Officer of Bernie Jackson Limited, she mentors, trains and supports lawyers, doctors, accountants, multi-level training companies and SMEs, in the execution of their agreed marketing and business development initiatives.
Jackson’s latest innovation is the launch of “Two-Faced” Networking™ training for businesses across South and West Wales. This training series is a novel take on the importance of exploring and maximising both the business and personal facets of networking in order to successfully win and maintain clients, referral partners and joint venture partners. There will be no meeting in August but….
We will be having a summer lunch. Delicious food, informal networking, lovely surroundings. Because we’re worth it!
Rather than trying to do this at the end of August and compete with Bank Holidays and last minute getaways, this is going to take place on 7th September at Witney Lakes Restaurant between 12 and 2pm with Tracey Dowe as our Motivational speaker getting us back on track after the Summer Holidays…. this is booking up well so please book in on info@networkingwomen.org.uk to secure your place.
