Speaker – Helen Blantz – The A – Z of Event Management
Helen will be covering the A-Z of Event Management, including some definite Dos & Don’ts. In this age of social media and wider digital communication, getting people together to connect face-to-face has never been more important. And for Networking Women, it’s a great way to meet and forge new and meaningful relationships with new customers…
Helen has been in the events industry for just under 20 years. In Helen’s early career of legal publishing she was told she did too much talking (!) so went to find a job where she needed to really connect with people! This was when Helen made the move into conferences, first legal conferences, then branching into lots of different industries. Helen has worked for big organisations as well as new startups in industries as different as shipping; oleochemicals; banking; finance; insurance; construction; aviation; IT; food ingredients; oil & gas. These cover mainly global markets, so some 2am starts for the Far East!
Most recently, Helen has helped to grow the information programme at Ecobuild, which this year attracted around 40,000 people – almost half of whom attend some of Helen’s conferences and seminars.
